Review: Natblot's demo "Fredløs"

Sadly, only now it is possible to publish this review. Some time ago, Lachryma Christi was contacted by Natblot, regarding their demo called Fredløs, released last year.
Natblot is a one member Black Metal band from Denmark formed in 2005.
It's hard to believe that such a good project is only now coming out. It is really good, proper Black Metal old school in everything, literally. Fast and melodic guitar riffs, very groovy at times, fast and heavy drums, perfect dragged voice, bassy stuff at times, really really nice.
The demo Fredløs contains three tracks, all of them very engaging, the kind of music that keeps playing in your head after you stop listening to it.
You can find many influences of old bands in there, some Burzum, also some Bathory, it is a really good work, everyone should give a listen to it.
Everything is on the right place at the right time. It's not an imitation of anything, it's not boring, it is really good and pleasant to hear.
Hopefully Natblot will bring us more good music in the (near) future.
You can find two of the songs of the demo on the band's myspace (http://www.myspace.com/natblot), so don't be shy and go for it!

Fredløs tracklist:

01. (Dødsvals) Væk fra lyset
02. Fjendsk
03. Fredløs
