Review: Sarkom's upcoming album "Doomsday Elite"

Norwegian Black Metal band Sarkom are releasing their third album on the 15th of October. It will be called Doomsday Elite and will be released through Dark Essence Records.
This is a very strong album, music is very extreme, really good Black Metal.
Uruz from Urghehal is playing drums on the album and there are guest performances on the album by Psy Cola (The Kovenant), Haan (Svarttjern), Nachtgarm (Negator), Thrawn and V. Larsen.
It is really fast, aggressive, cold, furious, full of hate and anger.
If you are a fan of extreme Black Metal you won't be disappointed with Doomsday Elite. There are also some catchy guitar riffs and melodies. When you think a song can't get better, it gets even better, it's just incredible, really amazing.
It is just impossible not to like it and not to want to listen to it over and over again.
2013 has been a very good year for Black Metal worldwide, really good albums coming out and Doomsday Elite is one of the best examples of that. So emotional, so high and intense, it's just unbelievable!

Review: Slegest's upcoming album "Løyndom"

Slegest is the project of Ese, previously a member of Norwegian band Vreid. After Ese left the band in 2010, he formed Slegest and released a self-titled EP.
This time Slegest will present us with their debut album which will be called Løyndom and is scheduled to be released on the 7th of October through Dark Essence Records. It is some sort of mix of rock and roll with old Black Metal elements.
The album has eight tracks and Ese sings and plays all instruments (Sture plays a solo as guest). Ese is a great musician and this album is the proof of that. Lachryma Christi was lucky enough to see him performing with Vreid before.
It is a really good work, whether you are a fan of Black Metal or of old school rock and roll as in Black Sabbath. You will not be disappointed when you hear Løyndom. It is really groovy and full of good influences. And it is also a good thing that it will be released both in CD and vinyl.
Løyndom is a very relaxed and at the same time heavy album, really really good.
Ese is putting together a live band, so Slegest can play gigs very soon. Keep an eye out!

Review: aNgreNOST's upcoming album "Planet Muscaria"

Portuguese Black Metal band aNgreNOST are scheduled to release a new album on the 23rd of September called Planet Muscaria, through Code666.
Hateful and Self-Destructive undead Black Metal, that is how they are described. In fact, it is a very furious, angry and full of hate music.
The album has nine tracks, all of them very emotional, very powerful, everything is perfect in there, there is nothing out of place in any of the songs. Really one of the best albums of 2013 for Lachryma Christi, so good it is even hard to describe in words.
For those who are not familiar with the name aNgreNOST, the band was formed in 1995. Before this album they had released a EP only, called Evil, back in 1997... In 1998 Pursan left the band due to all the auto destruction. But it is never late, and it is really good that Pursan reactivated the band after such a long time. Still, the concept of aNgreNOST and Planet Muscaria is something like the testimony of someone who went through the extremest states a human been can go and survive. Meaning stuff like hard drugs overdoses, hospitals, mental asylums and so on. Very interesting concept, and very good way to share and especially to express it. This is really good, amazing, majestic!
So yeah, on the 23rd of September, do a favor to yourselves and get this album. It is full of dark melodies, great rhythms, really strong and great compositions. Honestly, this is perfection.

Review: Glorior Belli's upcoming album "Gators Rumble, Chaos Unfurls"

French band Glorior Belli will be releasing their new album on the 29th of October through Agonia Records. Glorior Belli are a very special band with their own kind of metal, touching Black Metal at times.
Gators Rumble, Chaos Unfurls is a very heavy album, not very Black Metalish but there are still great influences of it.
The album has eleven tracks, all of them very sober, heavy, precise, full, strong. There is a lot of doom and groove in every song, they are all sensational.
Don't expect anything really furious or high pitched or raw, there is nothing like that in there. It has their fast and aggressive parts at times, but in general this is a very musical and melodic album. Each song leading to another one, really nice choice of sequence, everything makes sense in this album.
It is really entertaining and catchy, so the advice here is, go for it. Even if this is not entirely your thing, maybe give it a go. Gators Rumble, Chaos Unfurls mixes so many different metal styles and details that it is impossible to feel bored when listening to it. On the opposite.
Really good melodic guitar riffs and compositions. Another good work for 2013.
