Review: Welter in Thy Blood's recent album "Todestrieb"

Doom/ Black Metal band from USA Welter in Thy Blood released this Summer an album called Todestrieb through Dusktone. For those who don't know, Welter in Thy Blood formed in 2006 and their concept is all around misanthropy and death and suicide. Human extinction.
Todestrieb is their third album and is just amazing. Really atmospheric and experimental, a bit hard to get into but once you do, you will love it.
It is just so strong and emotional, making your skin crawl and making all your feelings come to surface.
If you are a fan of Doom or Black Metal or both, this is just perfect.
Really good and experienced musicians, acting as a whole where nothing sounds random. Unexpected sounds and melancholic melodies that will leave you out of words, really really good work.
Lachryma Christi hopes everyone has the chance to listen to this album. It is a bit depressive as of course it should be because it is made to be depressive and angry, but so good! The artwork cover is very interesting too.
Let's hope Welter in Thy Blood keep up the good work and present us with much more good stuff in the future.
