Review: Slegest's upcoming album "Løyndom"

Slegest is the project of Ese, previously a member of Norwegian band Vreid. After Ese left the band in 2010, he formed Slegest and released a self-titled EP.
This time Slegest will present us with their debut album which will be called Løyndom and is scheduled to be released on the 7th of October through Dark Essence Records. It is some sort of mix of rock and roll with old Black Metal elements.
The album has eight tracks and Ese sings and plays all instruments (Sture plays a solo as guest). Ese is a great musician and this album is the proof of that. Lachryma Christi was lucky enough to see him performing with Vreid before.
It is a really good work, whether you are a fan of Black Metal or of old school rock and roll as in Black Sabbath. You will not be disappointed when you hear Løyndom. It is really groovy and full of good influences. And it is also a good thing that it will be released both in CD and vinyl.
Løyndom is a very relaxed and at the same time heavy album, really really good.
Ese is putting together a live band, so Slegest can play gigs very soon. Keep an eye out!
