Review: Decayed's recent album "From Hell"

This is another review that should have been done a long time again. But hey, better late than never.

So, for those who don't know, Decayed might be the oldest Black Metal band formed in Portugal. From Hell, is a studio album recorded in 2008. It has been unreleased until now, more precisely until last month, as it came out on the 10th of July.

From Hell has some classics from the band, such as Fuck Your God. That's one of their very well known songs and also a masterpiece. I'm sure you're also familiar with HellWitch, and others.

Besides the classics, you may find there one exclusive song called Infernal Waves, and a cover of Sodom, Blasphemer.

From Hell is a collection of some of the finest Lusitanian Black Metal music ever made.
Both the music and the production are very raw and rough, as it is the trademark for Decayed. They play a very traditional Black Metal, very heavy and harsh, and obviously From Hell is a perfect example of that. There are atmospheric keyboards in the background, which brings the atmosphere to a very mystical level as well. Then the echoing voices are also a very special and fitting element.

From Hell is full of anger, evil, darkness, and it is like going back in time.

If you are into the most traditional and raw kind of Black Metal, with a great old school atmosphere, go for From Hell.
If you already know Decayed, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Decayed never disappoint, whether it is a studio release or a love performance. From Hell won't disappoint you either.
