Review: Marduk's upcoming album "Memento Mori"

Marduk are releasing their 15th album studio on the 1st of September. It is called Memento Mori, and it's being released through Century Media Records.

If you know Marduk, you know they have a very characteristic sound.
They always bring us a very intense, aggressive, impressively fast Black Metal music. Memento Mori is not an exception, however, it isn't more of the same either.
Within their style, Marduk still manage to bring us new music. It never gets boring, and that is why they still are one of the most influential Black Metal bands, even being around for so long.

So what will you find in Memento Mori
You will find ten tracks of pure Marduk. Very furious, very powerful, very stable and sober.
You can find the very dragged desperate vocals, the angry and frenetic riffs, the ultra fast blast beats, and a slower song at the very ending of the album, As We Are. It is not a ballad like Serpent Sermon, but it certainly calms you down after such a selection of tempestuous songs.

I thought As We Are would be my favourite track of Memento Mori. But then the album restarted playing from the beginning, and after listening to it again, it got difficult to chose a favourite.

Also, the lyrics are very meaningful.

In the end, Memento Mori, is the very certain proof that Marduk are still the fascinating, potent, dynamic band we've known for quite some time. Their songs are just as eloquent and strong after all this time, and that's what makes so many people still passionate about them. There is just so much energy, fire and vigour in Memento Mori, it's impressive, it's amazing.

The only thing I regret is my delay in listening to this album.
