Top 10 releases of 2021 for Lachryma Christi

So it is already February, but still OK to share Lachryma Christi's top 10 releases from 2021. In fact, top 12. It was quite difficult (in fact impossible) to get rid of two of those on the list here.

I would like to say that there is no order of best to worse or anything like that.

And not all these albums were sent to Lachryma Christi for review. Some of them I heard after they came out, and I just quite liked them.

So here we go:

Mephisto - Pentafixion

The Noctambulant -  Hellrazor

Escumergamënt - ...ni degu fazentz escumergamënt e mesorga...

Los males Del Mundo - Descent Towards Death

Kanonenfieber - Menschenmühle

Forhist - Forhist

Thron - Pilgrim

Askog - Varþnaþer

Farawisa - Frægð

Phreneticum - Der stille Zerfall

Nekromantheon - Visions of Trismegistos

DyrnwynIl Culto del Fuoco

As some of you might know, Lachryma Christi went through some breaks along 2021, due to lack of time, so I actually didn't listen to everything Black Metal that was out there. So possibly, there are a lot more albums that could be the best of 2021.

News: Mystifier streams new track from upcoming split with Lucifer's Child

Brazilian Death Black Metal band Mystifier released a new song called Death Beyond Holy Creation, which is part of the split with the Greek Black Metal band Lucifer's Child.

The split is titled Under Satan's Wrath and should be released on the 25th of March, through Agonia Records

You can listen to the track here:

George Emmanuel (ex-Rotting Christ), who co-launched Lucifer's Child in 2013, commented: "After almost a year and half of isolation and profound research, we gave birth to a new seed of evil, 'Under Satan's Wrath'. This deep rooted journey contains three new songs from each band, with some special revelations where conspiracies between Mystifier and Lucifer's Child divulge. A further step beyond the borders of safety, a further step into the abyss where our freedom to craft and sculpt our sound liberates."

On behalf of Mystifier, who appears on the split courtesy of Season of Mist, founder Beelzeebubth commented: "It's a pleasure taking part on this monunental split EP with our Greek comrades. It was the right moment to reveal our new band members: Kaverna on lead guitar and Apophys on drums. We met George during a long European tour in 2016. Nice to see him conquer the world with Lucifer's Child. Hope in the next days, after this pandemic lockdown, we can share the stage together again."

All Mystifier ttracks where recorded and mixed at Usb Studio (rhythm guitars) and Darkside Studio (drums, lead guitars, bass, keyboards and vocals).
