Review to Kvöl EP "Vestiges of Visceral Doom"
Today Lachryma Christi brings you a review to the EP of Kvöl. Who are Kvöl? They are a black metal band from USA/UK. In fact, a two member project.
On the last Friday the 13th, more precisely, the 13th of September, Kvöl released their new EP called Vestiges of Visceral Doom.
The EP has four tracks and is something very good. Very well constructed. The songs are all very complete. Very full of detail. Interesting detail. Although melodic, the EP has the proper rawness of the Black Metal, resembling the Norwegian one.
The voice sometimes reminds me of Maniac, which I adore.
It also has female voices in the background, interesting strings and more exotic details.
I like it so much!
The distortion can be sometimes disturbing. But is all part of the thing.
It is all so good. Very powerful and fast and atmospheric too. It fills the room. Brings feelings and a feeling of power.
Give it a go, you won't regret.
